On July 22, 2026, RDB’s Chief Tourism Officer, Irène Murerwa, and the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB), Maëva Haguma, held talks with Kelis to discuss possible areas of collaboration.
According to RDB, the discussions focused on ways to position Rwanda as an attractive destination for tourism and investment, particularly among American travelers and investors interested in visiting the country or pursuing business opportunities there.
Although no specific projects or timeline have yet been announced, a partnership with Kelis could significantly expand Rwanda’s international visibility by reaching her large audience in the United States and other parts of the world.
With a career spanning music, fashion, business and culinary arts, Kelis could help showcase Rwanda’s tourism attractions, investment opportunities and vibrant business environment through a variety of platforms.
Rwanda has increasingly partnered with internationally recognized personalities to promote the country’s natural attractions and strengthen its tourism sector, particularly through the Visit Rwanda campaign. Such collaborations are intended to attract new groups of visitors and investors from key international markets, including the United States.
Who is Kelis Rogers?
