The graduation ceremony was held on August 30, 2026, in Ankara, bringing together graduates from the two military academies.
The four Rwandans are Byiringiro Arnauld, Cyizere Prince, Mbanzabugabo Daniel and Mugabe Robert.
Following the completion of their military training, they were commissioned with the rank of Second Lieutenant by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Rwanda’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Lt Gen (Rtd) Charles Kayonga, and the Defence Attaché at the Rwandan Embassy, Colonel JP Rulisa.
The graduation is part of Rwanda’s efforts to strengthen the skills and capabilities of its military personnel through professional military education and training programmes in different countries.
