Kwibohora20 activities will officially launch today with the laying of the foundation stone at five health posts in each of Rwanda’s provinces and the City of Kigali.
The launch of the health posts will contribute to the government’s vision of establishing one health post per cell by 2017, a total of 1,548 new health posts.
The Minister of Defence, James Kabarebe, will launch one of the health posts in the Northern Province in the district of Gicumbi.
Home to Giti, a sector that did not participate in the genocide, Gicumbi served as the base of the Rwandan Patriotic Front during the liberation struggle.
