Most men are under enormous pressure to last longer in bed but how long should sex really last? How long is considered inadequate and how long is considered inadequate?
Dr Brendan Zietsch, a psychologist from the University of Queensland did a research on this subject and wrote about his findings in an article for The Conversationalist.
500 couples from around the world used a stop watch to measure the time from penetration to ejaculation and Dr Zietsch used the data for his research.
The findings from the research revealed that the time sex lasted ranged from 33 seconds to 44 minutes. The average time sex lasted across all couples was 5.4 minutes.
With the average time for sex across couples set at 5.4 minutes, should we consider sex under five minutes as bad sex?
