Badege appointed police spokesperson again

{ACP Theos Badege, former chief of criminal investigation department has been appointed the Rwanda National Police spokesperson.}

He replaces ACP Celestin Twahirwa who has been also appointed as chief of Community Policing.

The changes in police come at a time when the national entity responsible for security is undergoing reforms that started recently when the Ministry of Internal Security was phased out leaving police under the management of the Ministry of Justice.

ACP Theos Badege is appointed as police spokesperson for the second time having served in the same capacity in 2013 before becoming the head of Criminal Investigation Department.

    This is no doubt great,I think we are going as citizen to benefit from new police spokesperson as usual crimes have been decreased considerably in our area(Bugesera district) because we used to hear from the former police spokesperson awareness about crime prevention including reporting drug dealers and several Wrongdoers, reporting timely information of them. So we are very happy to hear about the new police spokesperson http://en.igihe.com/news/badege-appointed-police-spokesperson-again.html
