Congolese Army Bombing M23 Rebels Positions

South African troops part of the UN special combat Force in the area have moved to safer zone away from the fighting.

A source from M23 Rebel movement told IGIHE that 10 bodies of FARDC soldiers were recovered and 3 M23 rebels were killed.

There are three regiments of FARDC troops deployed in Goma .

Witnesses told IGIHE that the Bombardment started at 5AM in areas along Kanyaruchinya axis.

The shelling of M23 Rebels positions comes at the time the UN secretary General is visiting the Great lakes region.
