Appearing in RBA revolving around the country’s responsiveness to COVID-19 pandemic recently, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health in charge of Primary Healthcare, Dr. Tharcisse Mpunga has said that the Government of Rwanda is holding discussions with manufacturers of COVID-19 vaccines that could pave the way to establish a local plant.
Among others, Dr. Fisseha has visited Rwanda after the country signed an agreement with the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation in August 2020.
In August 2020, Foreign Affairs Minister Vincent Biruta signed a host country agreement with the Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation paving the way for establishing Africa office in Rwanda.
