Mourners described him as an honest man who always strived to live a dignified life, respecting God and standing against whatever tends to betray Rwanda.
Baziga was gunned down in Maputo early last week. He was shot dead on Monday in Matola, a suburb of Maputo around 11 am by assailants while heading to the garage. They blocked him and sprayed his Toyota Prado with bullets.
Baziga’s body arrived in Kigali on Sunday night flown from Mozambique.
According to sources, investigations are underway to find out ring leaders behind the death of Baziga.
Baziga had survived different attacks in 2016 where after all Rwandan suspects in connection with attempted murder were arrested and released without clear reasons.
The prime suspects in the murder attempt include Diomede Tuganeyezu, Benjamin Ndagijimana and Revocat Karemangingo.
Mozambique accommodates over 5,000 Rwandans.
