Bishop Rugagi seeks a private jet, talks relocating

The fervent believer in miracles, Rugagi told the church congregation on Sunday that, during his recent gospel mission in the US, he visited the American aerospace company Boeing to check the prices.

“When I was in Washington, I visited Boeing firm and asked how much a private jet costs,” he said.

In the leaked voice recordings, Bishop Rugagi is heard saying that when God chooses you for his service, he creates new chapter for you in order to get his glory loudly spoken everywhere you go.

Citing Bible verses, the Bishop says that all God’s promises come to pass.

“Blessed is he who has God’s promise, it will come to pass,” he says.

“He promised me an aircraft, I visited where they are made from and now I know the price. You can ask me if you want to buy an aircraft.”

He revealed that he may not use the jet while staying in Rwanda because he has got somewhere else to use it from, saying he was warmly welcomed in Dallas and Texas in the US and Toronto in Canada.

Rugagi revealed his dreams for a private jet in October 2017 after completing a gospel mission in Europe.

Rugagi is the founder of Redeemed Gospel Church which is currently holding gatherings in a tent at Kigali Serena Hotel as the recent crackdown on churches left closed their temple.
