Rwandans traveling to Mali to receive Visas on arrival

{Rwandans traveling to Mali will start applying for visa at the point of entry, according to communication from Mali’s foreign affairs Ministry to the Rwandan Embassy in Senegal.}

According to a letter dated August 16th 2017, the Mali Foreign Affairs Ministry informed the Rwandan Embassy in Dakar, that Mali’s foreign affairs Ministry appreciates the relations between the Rwandan Embassy and the Ministry and promised continued bilateral relations.

In February this year, Rwanda and Mali signed bilateral Airspace Service Agreement meant to foster trade, tourism and economic cooperation.

Both countries agreed to open their airspaces allowing their national carriers to operate without restrictions.

According to the agreement, all air service operations will be conducted under the fifth freedom arrangement, which means an airline, has the right to carry passengers from one country to another and from that country to a third country.
