As ISPA’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Robert E.Rugema Busulwa says the goal is to ensure that all Rwandans have access to reliable and affordable internet going in line with the government’s vision which prompts ISPA to work hard targeting increased number of subscribers for its internet among corporate bodies and private residences.
So far ISPA has developed a close relationship with the Ministry of Youth and ICT as the sector grew strength to strength.
Through the partnership, Ministry of Youth and ICT contributed a lot towards realization of goals where the ministry allocated enormous investment setting up the backbone ICT infrastructure countrywide, hence facilitating the growth and expansion of ISPA.
Else, the company has also partnered with MYICT over the years to carry out awareness campaigns in the different districts to help Rwandans understand the importance of internet while providing easy access.
“ISPA from time to time sets up free access internet hotspots in different parts of the city for limited periods so people can have a practical experience of the difference using our internet gives,” reveals Rugema.

Rwanda is a country striving to realize fast economy through digital migration facilities. ISPA believes internet affordability will play a great role in making it a reality provided that the company is continuously heavily investing in infrastructures aimed at availing internet in all corners of the country.
“At this pace, in a few years, Rwanda will have no competition within the region in the field of ICT. ISPA continues to attract new clients because it offers a reliable service that customers are happy with, and in the near future we hope to take this experience and technology out of here to other countries,” remarks Rugema.
Rugema said Rwandans don’t make full use of super fast internet they are availed and unveiled that ISPA is working on introducing some great new products that will help them do just that.
“Today we have people paying for superfast internet but they use it only to check Email, WhatsApp, Facebook etc, yet they could use it for so much more. At ISPA, we want to help our customers maximize the high speed internet they pay for,” he explains.
In addition, Cut down call costs with VoIP First in the pipeline is the Voice over IP (VoIP), which basically involves making phone calls over the internet, is being tested and trials are going well.
“When we introduce it, it will change the way people make calls: it is very cheap (almost free of charge compared to traditional phone calls), and it allows you to communicate worldwide,” shares Rugema.

Internet facilities are extended to entertainment genres where ISPA’s upcoming product- the Android TV Box- will come to the rescue. The Android TV Box will be packaged specifically for families and allow users to access thousands of TV chan – nels, movies, children’s games and so on.
As Rugema explains this is believed to be a great step attracting children’ calm restraining them from wandering as they have access to movies, sports and games.

ISPA current and upcoming products offer families special benefits, particularly by boosting the children’s learning and keeping them entertained when it is time for relaxing.
High internet speeds come in especially handy in the area of education by making it easier for school-going children to do their homework research online.
“Homework today has evolved and assignments nor – mally require children to do some research online, watch video tutorials on the internet and so on. The feedback we get from parents consistently indicates that children benefit a lot from our super-fast internet because it enables them complete their homework easily,” says Rugema.
