Kizito Pleads Guilty to Treason Charges

{{KIzito Mihigo a popular musician has on April 21 pleaded guilty to treason charges before Kacyiru court of first instance.

However, Judge adjourned the hearing to Thursday April 24 to enable the accused to access services of legal representatives.

Other suspects pleaded guilty to some of the charges but also denied other charges.}}

The suspects including Radio journalist Cassien Ntamuhanga, former soldier Jean Paul Dukuzumuremyi and Agnes Niyibizi were arrested last week and were paraded before the press where they admitted to collaborating with RNC and FDLR rebels and were planning to destabilise the country and attack the country’s leaders in revenge for the assassination of Patrick Karegeya.
