Zambia calls for JPC with Rwanda to Boost Trade

{Zambia has called for the revival of the joint permanent commission
-JPC- with Rwanda to boost trade and economic growth between the
Countries.}

ZNBC’S Lillian Kalaba reports that Zambia’s Ambassador to
Rwanda Judith Kapijimpanga says the two countries have failed to hold
the JPC for years .

She was speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations high
Commission for Refugees tripartite meeting in Kigali Rwanda.

Ms. Kapijimpanga who described relations between the two countries as
warm said there is need to explore more business opportunities between
the two countries for the betterment of the people.

She also hailed the opening up of a route to Lusaka by Rwanda Air saying
this would easy movement between the two countries but also
promote trade and economic growth.

Rwanda a small African Country known for the 1994 genocide which left
close to a million people dead has rebuilt herself and steadily
becoming a strong economic force in Africa.
