Buravan has to his belt the Prix Découvertes RFI 2018, a prize that helped him perform in different Francophone African countries. Same year, 2018, he launched his first album titled The Love Lab.
As a child, he grew up singing in a church choir. In 2009, he participated in Rwandatel’s singing competition and came third among 70 chosen finalists.
He has come to prominence with such songs as “Majunda”, “Injyana” ft Umutare Gaby, “Urwo Ngukunda” ft Uncle Austin, “Bindimo”, “Garagaza”, “Malaika”, “Oya”, and “Just a Dance”.
