{President Paul Kagame has reminded Rwandans to keep courage in building the nation giving security its utmost place since it is the foundation of sustainable development.}
President Kagame made the call Thursday as he visited Ngoma district of Eastern Province in an event held ion Zaza sector.
Presidnet Kagame reminded them that the real development is rooted on security.
“We are devoted to building the nation, we want to stay healthy. You all know that our history is dotted with darkness, it is essential that we attain our desired development,” he said.
The 2015 Gallup Global Law and Order report placed Rwanda among World top secure countries facilitating free all-time circulation of citizens.
The report ranked Rwanda at 5th place with 85% and first on African continent. President Kagame based on such achievements and requested Rwandans to such and maintain attained progress.
“Security is a basic development need. I request and I know you are engaged in maintaining it. I want you to make it part and parcel of your life. Let’s hold on to it, make it our spirit leading to its continuity as a needed tool for development,” he said.
President Kagame told Rwandans that no one will disrupt their security if they collaborate and noted that whenever disturbances of peace occur, they will be addressed immediately.
The President visits various parts of the country and tips citizens on development issues. Through such visits he listens to citizens’ concerns and advises on proper acton and interventions. During his visit in Ngoma district, he promised to build the road connecting Ngoma and Nyanza district as a way of facilitating cooperation .He also pledged advocacy to avail internet in Zaza as one of sectors having a majority of schools in Ngoma district.
