{A delegation of 11 students and three Staff Members from the United States Air War College who are in Rwanda on Regional Cultural Studies visited Rwanda Defence Force on 29 February. At the RDF Headquarters, the US Air War College delegation was received by Rwanda Air Force Chief of Staff, Brig Gen Charles Karamba.}
The College Students and Staff exchanged with the RDF Officers on Rwanda’s Liberation Struggle, RDF Status, Contribution to Domestic and International Security. They also discussed RDF – US Army cooperation.
After the visit at RDF Hqs, one of the students, Lt Col Scott Humphrey noted that the main purpose of their visit is to understand more about their Strategic Partners, sharing information and culture for better cooperation.
“The main purpose of the visit is to understand more about our strategic partners and how we can work better with our partners, sharing information and culture with our friends”, he said before adding that he was very excited on the provision of health services to local population. “I was very excited that the military has integrated network to provide health services, you do touch all parts of the country”, he reiterated.
The Air War College Students who are on study tour in Rwanda from 27 February to 2nd March 2016 are scheduled to visit Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College to exchange with Students and Staff College in Musanze.
