IGIHE has learned that they have been dismissed for attending a job entry exam at another media house.
They received dismissal letters yesterday morning.
The management of Radio/TV 10 said they wanted reasons for the dismissal kept a secret unless concerned individuals are willing to disclose it.
One of the fired journalists confirmed the dismissal to IGIHE that the employer did so because they sat for job entry exam at Rwanda Broadcasting Agency.
“It is true that they have dismissed us because we sat for job exam at RBA,” he said.
Kayishema was popular in sports news analysis at the media house while Rigoga Ruth was among talented and passionate female sports journalists in Rwanda.
They were popular in talk shows like 10 Sports on Radio 10 and Zoom Sports on TV 10.
