Twagiramungu Ready for 2017 Presidential Elections

{{Faustin Twagiramungu a Rwandan opposition politician has announced plans to return to Rwanda in May 2013 saying he wants to start conducting politics within the country.}}

Twagiramungu who has been in Exile for over a decade is currently operating under the RDI-Rwanda Rwiza political pressure group which he also intends to register as a legal political party in Rwanda.

Twagiramungu stood as an independent candidate in the Rwandan presidential election of 2003. In the final count, he placed second (out of three) with 3.62% of the vote.

Another Oppostion Politician Gérard Karangwa Semushi has also expressed simillar interest in returning home to Rwanda to engage in opposition politics within the territorial boundaries of Rwanda.

Karangwa Semushi resides in Holland . He is the Vice president of PDP-Imanzi a political pressure group formed by Deo Mushaidi currently serving a prison sentence in Rwanda.

Karangwa and Twagiramungu told Media in Brussels at a press conference that they are preparing to take part in the 2017 presidential elections in Rwanda.
