A motorcyclist was killed on saturday evening when a truck failed to break while negotiating the roundabout at Sonatube in kicukiro center.
The truck was heading towards Remera from Kicukiro when it knocked dead a motorcyclist. The truck later overtunned and fell in the nearby plot of land.
IGIHE talked to a phone credit vendor near the scene, she said the truch was emerging from kicukiro while hooting repeatedly.
She said she had to run away from her stall but the truck runover the motorcyclist who had parked near her stall.
The motorcylist had parked while a passenger was disembarking. The passenger was not hit.
Later the truck driver emerged from the truck alive without any injuries.
