Tour of Rwanda Cyclers Enroute to Nyagatare

{{Yet again Tour of Rwanda cycling competition has seen several local and international cyclers roll into action towards the Eastern Province this morning.}}

The cyclers attracted several enthusiastic onlookers that took to the high way and some climbed trees to take good focus on the cyclers.

Rwanda’s Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi officially Flagged off the Tour of Rwanda at the Remera National Stadium in Kigali.

The international cycling competition attaracts 12 teams from 15 countries, regional as well as international countries like USA, Canada, Russia, France, Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Gabon and Eritrea.

The 8-day cycling tournament will make 890.3 Kilometers within 8 hours of almost all corners of the country of a thousand hills from 18 November to 25 November 2012.

Tour of Rwanda Riders started by a 3km tour around Remera Stadium.
Today they are enroute to Nyagatare (149.7km) later they will cycle through Kigali- Muhanga (44.1km), Muhanga-Huye (72.4km), Huye-Karongi (152.9km), Muhanga-Musanze (126.5km), Musanze-Rubavu (60.5km), Rubavu-Kigali (156.4km) and finally Kigali-Kigali (124.3km).
