Born Muyombo Thomas, the artist is also a trained medical doctor but became popular with his stage name Tom Close.
Niyonshuti Ange Tricia and Tom Close got married on November 2013 at a colourful wedding.
Rumours began circulating that Tricia wedded Tom Close while she was expecting someone’s child but kept the pregnancy secretes from the artist.
Its alleged that Tom Close could not swallow the bitter pill of putting up with a woman expecting another mans child and this led to their split. The rumour also claimed Tricia left her matrimonial residence with all household items leaving the house empty.
However, Tom Close has rejected the rumours saying him and Tricia are deeply in love and there is nothing like the two have split.
