Two Suspects Arrested Over Theft of Frw30M

{{Police in Musanze District has arrested two suspects in connection with theft of Frw30million three days ago, IGIHE Reporter in Musanze has confirmed the arrest.

The suspects whose identities haven’t been disclosed yet are said to have been behind the robbery in Remera, Kigali where they stole Frw30million.

The Suspects have been identified as Habinshuti Jean de Dieu – he was working as a Housemaid.

He told Police that he had been instructed by his master to wash the car and during the process he found money inside the car and that he couldnt reisist the temptation to steal it.

He admitted that there were different currencies in various values including; U$10,000, Euros16,000 and Frw8,288,670

The money was stolen from Nyabisindu cell, in Gasabo district.

Habinshuti further collaborated with Karimunda Jean Bosco and the two fled to Musanze district where they had rented a house for two months at Muhoza sector, cyabagarura cell by the time they were arrested.

The two suspects are currently being detained at Muhoza Police Station pending further investigations.

Both suspects admitted to the crime and have sought for forgiveness saying its their first time to get involved in such.
