{{The Sudanese Christian woman who was sentenced to death for apostasy when she was heavily pregnant has raised concern that her baby could be disabled.}}
According to reports, Meriam Ibrahim gave birth to her second child while shackled to the floor of her prison cell.
Ibrahim told The Guardian recently that she gave birth in chains and could not open her legs.
She said something had happened to the baby and expressed fears she (baby) might in the future need support to walk.
The Telegraph quoted Ibrahim as saying prison authorities refused to remove shackles on her legs.
She said her daughter had been left physically disabled – but the extent of the disability would not be clear until she was older.
