The two facilities are planned for construction at Karenge sector in Rwamagana district.
Starbucks team of 30 members made the announcement recently while meeting with National Agriculture Export Board (NAEB) on their arrival last week.
The Coffeehouse chain launched its offices in Rwanda in 2009 and has since exhibited a growing affinity for Rwandan quality coffee.
NAEB director Alex Kanyankole says the Starbucks team visited factories and farmers with the aim of understanding better the coffee sector and to strengthen relationships with their suppliers.
Starbucks began purchasing of high quality Arabic coffee from Rwanda in 2004. The coffee chain operates 18,000 stores in 50 countries and buys coffee from 30 countries.
