Spy Chief Promoted to Rank of Lt. General

President Paul Kagame has made several promotions in the army.
Notable is the promotion of (Major General) Karenzi Karake head of National Security Service (NSS) to the rank of Lt.General.

According to the army spokesperson Col, (now Brig. Gen.) Joseph Nzabamwita, Six Brigadier Generals promoted to the rank of MAJOR GENERAL include;

Jacques Musemakweli

Mubarak Muganga

Sixteen (16) Colonels were promoted to the rank of BRIGADIER GENERAL. They Include;
