South Korea’s new envoy to Rwanda, Mr. Hwang Soon Taik, has appreciated the bilateral relation between Korea and Rwanda adding that the collaboration will be doubled as two countries celebrate 50th Anniversary of collaboration.
“The bilateral cooperation between the two countries are excellent and this will be doubled as we celebrate 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations ” said Ambassador Hwang Soon Taik.
This was revealed Thursday, while Mr Hwang was meeting Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi.
Habumuremyi pointed out that the support being provided by Korea is in line with Rwanda Government priorities like education, telecommunication and rural development.
Korea has been partnering with Rwanda in education by backing the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre and also providing bursaries to Masters Degree to Rwandan students.
