{Two parts of Late Rwigara’s Premier Hotel located in Nyarugenge will be demolished due to the construction errors as well as unauthorized construction.}
This website has learnt that two of the three parts of that building will be demolished following an assessment that was conducted by Construction experts from St. Joseph Engineering Company.
Furthermore, the city of Kigali has said the two parts were built without authorization.
The City of Kigali has given Rwigara’s family 15th August 2015 as a deadline to bulldoze concerned parts.
However in a letter seen by IGIHE, children of Rwigara Assinapol (Succession) have complained that they didn’t understand what was written in the report done by engineers.
In the same letter sent to the City Mayor, the children requested that they should be given a right people to help them understand the report findings so as to be able to execute what has been recommended by engeneers.
