Rwandans Urged to Help Fight Graft in Judiciary

{{The Chief Justice, Prof. Sam Rugege has urged all Rwandans to contribute to the fight against corruption in the judicial sector by denouncing any agent of this sector attempting to monetize judicial services.}}

Rugege made the remarks during the closing of the week dedicated to fight against corruption in Rwanda judicial sector.

“The fact that we established the national week against Corruption in judicial sector does not mean that the situation is alarming, its about prevention. We want to rid the judiciary of such malfunctions, “said Sam Rugege.

The anti-corruption week started on February 11.

During the period, awareness activities were carried out at sector level, in secondary schools and prisons, among others.
