Rwandan Students who have completed engineering studies in India are preparing to start an Engineering School – Sihgad Technical Society-Rwanda which will be operating in Gatenga of Kicuro District.
The move is in line with contributing skills and Knowledge to Rwandan Community as well as contributing to the socio economic development of the country.
The school which is expected to increase the number of Rwandan Engineers will be offering University Degrees in four engineering branches namely Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronic and Computer engineering.
Sihgad Technical Society-Rwanda will collaborate with an Indian based Sinhgad college of Engineering University which, its representative announced, will bring in skilled engineers to train Rwandans while at the same time providing scholarships to bright students of Sihgad Technical Society-Rwanda.
At the beginning about 300 students will be enrolled in engineering branches while a number of 200 students will enroll for Master’s Degree in Financial Management.
