Rwanda has unveiled determination to protect Pope Francis over France army worries trying to persuade the pontiff to cancel his visit in Central African Republic (CAR) scheduled from 28th to 29th November 2015.
Rwanda is among countries responsible for the protection of CAR civilians, officials and Presidential guard.
On Wednesday, the France ministry of defense has officially declared anxieties over insecurity that may arise during the visit of Pope Francis.
Despite anxiety acted out by the minister of defense of French Republic, Jean-Yves Le Drian over the pontiff’s visit; the spokesman of RDF, Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita has demonstrated that Rwandan military troops in CAR peacekeeping mission have the capacity to secure the visit.
“Perhaps a job for the Rwandan peacekeepers .Rwanda peacekeepers enjoyed your company, and…Before you! Always ready to provide security, in support of all efforts.”He tweeted.
Recently Rwanda has sent 150 police force to maintain peace in CAR additional to 750 RDF soldiers cooperating with United Nations peacekeepers in this country.
Talking to credibility of Rwanda troops in CAR peacekeeping mission, President Catherine Samba Panza has been highlighting that military support the country benefit from Rwanda, established the pact of partnership.
