The Netherlands Defence Ministry is planning to send some of their military offers to get trained at the Rwanda Peace Academy in the southern Province.
This is aimed at strengthening Defence cooperation with Rwanda.
On 5th February, 2013, Maj Gen Beulen, the Director of operation in Netherland Ministry of Defence visited Rwanda Peace Academy as well as Rwanda Defence Forces.
Brig. Gen Joseph Nzabamwita, the Rwanda Military and Defence Spokesperson noted that Maj. Gen. Beulen requested that Netherland will bring its officers to get trained in Rwanda military school.
Brig. Gen Nzabamwita also said Rwanda sends its officers to get trained in Netherland.
Speaking to media Maj. Gen. Beulen said his visit is in line with strengthening good relations between Rwanda and Netherland.
He added that He was impressed with the significant progress at the Rwanda Peace Academy.
