Rwanda To Launch Commodity Market for East Africa

The East Africa Exchange (EAX), which will presumably be based on the success of the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange, aims to increase “transparency of commodity markets of the Great Lakes region.”

The project has received the approval of the East African Community (EAC).

It covers agricultural and non-agricultural.

Subsequently, President Paul Kagame wants to create the African Holdings Ltd Exchange (AFEX), which aims to develop a network of commodity exchanges in the entire African continent, which would make Rwanda a place of international trade commodities.
