Rwanda will host the African Transformation Forum (ATF) for the first time from 14th to 15th March 2016. The forum is being organized in collaboration between Government of Rwanda and African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET). It will bring together governments officials, business people, civil society and various donors.
Participants will share ideas on accelerating transformation and efforts needed to maintain the momentum and consolidate gains.
Some of the efforts to be given due emphasis will include knowledge building and job among the youth, financial inclusion, agricultural development, trade facilitation and building cooperatives’ capacities.
During the Forum, the head of African development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, will present a paper on the role of AfDB in supporting African transformation policies among others.
