The Rwandan Peacekeepers in Central African Republic have reportedly used heavy fire to diffuse tension between the Christians (Anti balaka) and the moslems (seleka).
On Saturday night the anti Balaka attacked the moslems killing over 6 people before the Rwandan peace keepers intervened with heavy fire.
Brig Gen Nzabamwita Joseph, the Spokesperson of the Rwanda Defence Force told IGIHE that the Christians were defeated by the Muslim fighters forcing them to take refugee at the Rwandan peacekeepers base.
Brig Gen Nzabamwita also noted that no Rwandan peacekeeper was injured in the incidence.
