{{Rwamagana District, the Rwanda Commission of Demobilization and Reintegration (RCDR) on Wednesday, inaugurated 27 houses built for disabled ex-soldiers of war.}}
According to Jean Sayinzoga, Chairman of the Commission, this inauguration means that Rwanda remains grateful to men and women that sacrificed to restore value to the country.
He made the remarks on site of Murehe in Rwamagana District, where the houses were built.
At the the site, 38 houses were built. So far only 27 have been completed.
The President of the Commission for Demobilization stressed that discipline must guide a demobilized soldier.
The delegate of the General Staff of RDF (Rwanda Defence Forces), for its part, General Eric Murokore, said that these houses are not for sale.
He urged the beneficiaries to properly maintain the houses.He promised that the houses will be connected to electricity.
Vice-Mayor of the District of Rwamagana in charge of social affairs, Yvonne Muhongayire, commended government for the Houses.
The houses have three bedrooms, a lounge, a bathroom, a kitchen and a water tank.
They were given to disabled veterans of the second category.
