{Ernestine Tuyishimire, 5, died in a fire outbreak that attacked the home of his parents in the sector of Muyumbu of Rwamagana District. The incidence took place on Friday 27th December 2013.}
Tuyishimire’s parents were away when the fire broke out. On their departure, the parents let a lamp lit on the side of the bed where the child slept. Net was attacked by fire, also causing the mattress on which the child was asleep and the entire house. Neighbours were alerted but they could not save the child. A prevention campaign against fire was immediately triggered by the Muyumbu Sector Executive Secretary.
