A 22 years old woman has thrown a 4 months old baby in a toilet near a bar in Sanganiro village, Gakoni cell of Muganza sector, Rusizi district.
Mukashema Chantal who did the dreadful act and said to have turned into a sex worker after leaving his marital home in Nyakabuye sector was arrested yesterday and is suspected to have committed the offense on 22nd May, 2016.
She has accepted to have committed the gruesome act immediately after her arrest yesterday.
The executive secretary of Muganza sector, Muhirwa Philippe has told IGIHE that the woman has been taken to Bugarama police station while the baby’s body is expected to be retrieved from the toilet today.
