{ Three executive secretaries from respective sectors of Gashonga, Nkungu , Nkombo in Rusizi district and Business Development Fund(BDF)district representative have resigned on this Thursday over private reasons.}
Talking to IGIHE, Frederic Harerimana the mayor of Rusizi district confirmed that he has received resign letters from these leaders over private reasons.
The mayor has proclaimed that abdicated leaders have been marked by mismanagement of Vision 2020 Umurenge Program (VUP) fund which he suspects to be the motive of their resign.
“Probably they have resigned over VUP fund mismanagement that has been realized in sectors they have been leading.”He said.
Resigned executive secretaries include Uwirereye Lea of Gashonga sector , Sebagabo Victor of Nkungu sector and Placide Sibomana executive secretary of Nkombo sector.
Murenzi Leonard representative of BDF in Rusizi district has also abdicated.He was the sexecutive secretary of Nyakarenzo sector before representing BDF.
According to mayor Harerimana, the three sectors will be lead by notaries during the transitional period.
Rusizi district has the area of 959 km square comprising of 18 sectors with more than 404 populations.
