A commercial building belonging to a businessman Rubangura Vedaste in Amahoro village; Amahoro cell of Gisenyi sector in Rubavu district has caught fire that has completely destroyed it.
The incident happened around 23:30 hours last night.
The Rubavu district vice mayor in charge of social affairs, Uwampayizina Marie Grace has told IGIHE that they have not yet identified the cause of fire.
“The incident occurred between 23:00 and 23:30 hours last night. All merchandise was completely burnt but police have not yet identified the cause of fire and the value of destroyed properties,” she said.
