RSI Went up by 5.81 points

The Thursday’s Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) went up 5.81 points to close at 182.48 and mainly pushed by the rising BK and Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf 165 and Rwf 687 respectively.

Friday the Market was closed following the celebrations to mark National Heroes Day.

The total turnover for the day was Rwf 153,526,900 from 30,700 BK shares and 216,700 Bralirwa shares traded in 16 deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 9,025,700 from 28,600 BK shares, 6,900 Bralirwa shares and 300 KCB shares traded in 17 deals.

BK shares traded between Rwf 165 and Rwf 170 and closed at Rwf 165, registering an increase of Rwf 9 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 685 and Rwf 689 and closed at Rwf 687, registering an increase of Rwf 17 compared to yesterday’s closing price.

KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 169 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 383,300 BK shares between Rwf 150 and Rwf 165 and no outstanding offers.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 203,000 shares between Rwf 663 and Rwf 685 and no outstanding offers.
