A total of 270 Kicukiro residents have sworn in as new members of Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) political party. The swearing in was held yesterday in Gahanga sector of Kicukiro district during the general assembly of RPF Inkotanyi members.
29,434 RPF members in Gahanga have registered several achievements in building the nation with other Rwandans that have included construction of a crafts center, built offices of Gahanga sector and supported poor citizens.
Olivier Benimana, one of sworn in members noted that such achievements reflect a good show of the power of example.
“I have vowed to walk in line with other Rwandans for the continued progress of our country. I will work with other members of RPF to enhance development,” he said.
Kaboyi Jean Bosco, one of RPF Inkotanyi members form Gahanga sector said that they will assist sworn-in members to respect oaths of participating in development activities of the country; taking a leaf from the government which is run by member of RPF.
The president of RPF Inkotanyi in Kicukiro district, Dr Nyirahabimana Jeanne said that the growth in membership helps in furthering the ideals of the party.
“RPF Inkotanyi can’t grow without getting new members.The swearing in of new members is a sign of strength.”
