{{Resolutions that were taken during the 9th National Leadership Retreat were implemented at an average of 81.5% while 14.7% of them were half implemented and 4.2% not implemented.}}

Senior government officials said this, yesterday, at a news briefing to inform the public about the resolutions of the just-concluded 10th National Leadership Retreat that ended at the weekend.

Tugireyezu Vénantie, Minister in the Office of the President said that resolutions that were not fully implemented are expected to be completed by June, 2013.

Rwanda’s Minister of Finance and Economic planning, Amb. Claver Gatete said that failure to implement some of the resolutions was due to lack of financial means, limited skills during implementation, poor collaboration between institutions and lack of Private Sector involvement during the implementation process.

He called upon the Private Sector to take active role in the implementation of resolutions of the 10th National Leadership Retreat.
Although some of the resolutions were not fully implemented, Prof. Shyaka Anastase of Rwanda Governance Board commended the achievements noting that this is the first time to implement such resolutions at an average of over 80%.
