Remains of more than 150 genocide victims found in Gasabo

The exhumation activities started yesterday in the pits which were named after the ‘Conseil National de Developpment (CND)’, former Rwanda parliament.

The pits are located in Jean Bosco Munderere’s home.

In a total, four pits were discovered and residents expect that over 2000 victims were dumped there.

Survivors in the locality say that during the Genocide, Tutsi from around Kabuga and neighboring areas were gathered and murdered there.
