The Ministry of Gender and family promotion has urged religious institutions to help in finding solutions to gender based matters and promote gender equality.
Minister Odda Gasinzigwa noted that religious institutions are very important in the promotion of government programs especially those relevant to gender policy and its implementation.
Effective today March 7, the ministry will launch ‘Akagoroba k’ababyeyi’ and religious institutions will be part of that by helping families to identify their problems as well as helping them to look for solutions.
