The delegation of students from nine regional countries is headed by Commissioner of Police Christophe Bizimungu, the Commandant of the College.
They were received by the Inspector General of Kenya Police Services, David M. Kimaiyo at his offices in Nairobi.
Kimaiyo said the Senior Command and staff course is vital in strengthening regional cooperation through Law enforcement, capacity building, sharing best practices and harmonising standards.
The week-long tour is a continuation of their studies in Senior Command and Staff Course which include strategic leadership and Master’s program in peace studies and conflict transformation.
IGP Kimaiyo lauded the level of cooperation and mutual assistance between RNP and the National Police Services of Kenya since 2002 when the latter trained Rwandan officers.
By then RNP was only two years old.
