The Law will soon catchup with people domesticating wild animals especially crested cranes and Monkeys, Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has warned.
RDB has expressed concern over the dwindling population of created cranes in the country yet some homes, and hotels have resorted to domesticating them a practice that is illegal and punishable by Rwandan laws.
Ngoga Télesphore in charged of environmental conservation at RDB told IGIHE that anybody found in posession with or domesticating wild game risks punishment citing Penal code Act 417.
