RCS Honors victims of 1994 Genocide Against Tutsi

The event was organized as a Part of the 19th Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis under the theme “Let us commemorate the Genocide against the Tutsi as we strive for self reliance”.

RCS expressed through the silent march, its strong sympathy for the victims of the 1994 genocide against Tutsis.

According to the Commissioner Mary Gahonzire, RCS will make active support to survivors of the Genocide adding that 4 houses of survivors will be renovated.

“Many prisoners for crimes of genocide expressed sorry for the inhumane acts they have committed and they have asked for forgiveness. Most of them want to go out of prisons to show where they threw victims for a decent burial, “said Commissioner Mary Gahonzire who contributed Rwf 500,000 for the preservation of Gisozi Memorial Centre.
