The mayor of Gicumbi district, Felix Ndayambaje has told IGIHE that the roof was blown off by winds that destroyed more infrastructure.
“Yesterday’s rain characterized by violent wind blew away the stadium’s roof which also destroyed latrines at King Salomon Primary School. One classroom at the school was also smashed,” he said.
Ndayambaje explained that the stadium’s perimeter wall was also ravaged.
