Queen’s Barton Relay to go through Rwanda in 2014

{{For the first time the Queen’s Baton Relay will make its way through Rwanda territory since joining the commonwealth in November 2009.}}

According to organisers of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the baton will arrive in Rwanda on January 15, 2014 enroute from Uganda and later move on to Tanzania the following day.

The organizers also said the Baton will make its first stop in Delhi, India which hosted the 2010 Commonwealth Games. After India the baton will trail through Asia, Oceania, Africa, North and South America, the Caribbean and Europe covering over 118,000 miles (190,000km).
