The Minister of Youth and ICT, Jean Philbert Nsengimana, has called upon public institutions including districts to exploit the use of the websites by providing timely information as well as allowing citizens access to information.
It has been noticed that despite employing public relations officers and IT personnel, many institutions take long to update their websites, the minister observed.
Nsengimana gave a deadline of first week of January, 2013 for them to come up with clear mechanisms to ensure that their websites are updated regularly.
